We're b-a-a-a-ck! The Return of the Snowbirds

Now that the winter is here, many snowbirds, including us, have migrated back to South Florida, crowding the streets and stores and restaurants. It's good to be back for our third winter in Delray Beach. Our neighbors and friends in the community make us feel very welcome. The flock of ibises pecking their way past our porch seem more familiar than exotic now. The cattle egret is still their lookout as they peck their way around our little lake.

It's good to be back to the sunny, warm weather, the gorgeous golf days, the beach with its dunes and palm trees, Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray with its slew of galleries and restaurants, the relatives and friends we have down here, and our very cool condo at the Pines. We are so lucky!
