Several years ago, I photographed these day lilies in a neighbor's yard. In a pastels class, I created this piece which has been sitting on my easel for two years! I can't figure out how to make the yellow lilies look right. The pastel chalk on the lilies is now about a centimeter thick. I need to get this picture off my easel and to move on to a new project.
