We are thrilled to report that we are going to become grandparents in 2010. Our daughter and son-in-law are expecting a baby in June. Catherine and Ryan will be wonderful parents; we are so happy for them.
After a tiring first trimester, the mother-to-be said, "Creating life is hard work."
When asked about gender preference, the father-to-be, an avid baseball fan, said, "I hope to have two children someday: a pitcher and a catcher."
We'll see.
