I don't know which one got on the dead tree first: the anhinga at the top or the alligator. I do know that the turtle was the last one to climb aboard and the first one to jump off. Apparently, he suddenly realized that he was close to becoming the alligator's next meal. I took this photo at Wakodahatchee Wetlands. The Peaceable Kingdom: Florida style.
